Brookville Foundation – James P. Mullin Scholarship

This scholarship fund was created in memory of James P. Mullin (1907-1997). James P. Mullin was born and raised in Franklin County, Indiana. After undergraduate, graduate, and law school, he worked in the East (American Friends Society of Philadelphia) before moving back to Brookville to practice law in 1946. He shared his love and knowledge of the county and its people with his wife and four daughters as he visited with people and traveled the many roads of the county. Brookville Foundation – James R. Hughes Scholarship

The income from the James Richard Hughes Scholarship Fund shall be paid annually as a scholarship award to a member of the Senior class of the Franklin County High School, who has been accepted for enrollment in an accredited institution of higher learning to pursue a course of study leading to a degree in education. Brookville Foundation – James R. Kaffenberger Scholarship

The James R. Kaffenberger Scholarship has been established to honor the female student/athlete who has demonstrated through her high school career a positive attitude and strong work ethic and has demonstrated an aptitude to succeed academically at the college level. In awarding the scholarship the financial need factor will be considered to help make it possible for the selected student/athlete to attend college, and it is not intended that this scholarship be awarded to a female student/athlete who has earned a full room, board and tuition scholarship to the college of her choosing on any other basis. Brookville Foundation – James Runyun Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1993 by friends of the family of James Runyon and church groups in memory of James. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a graduating Franklin County High School senior.  Primary consideration will be given to students who attended Laurel Elementary School.

Brookville Foundation – Saxxon-Robbins Scholarship

Established in 2010 by Ken and Marita Saxon in memory of their parents Herbert L. Saxon, Lillie E. Shuman Saxon, Robert J. Robbins and Mary F. Howie Robbins.  The intent of the fund is to continue the cherished values of faith, family community and education held by the Saxon and Robbins families.  The fund will provide an annual scholarship to an FCHS graduating student who attended St. Michael School in Brookville and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in education.
