On April 14, 2015 the shareholders of FCN Bank held their 114th annual meeting at the main office in Brookville, Indiana. At the close of the meeting, an announcement was made about the establishment of a new scholarship in the Franklin County Community Foundation. The Art & Carol Hildebrand/Tony & Valerie Windle Scholarship Endowment will be awarded to students who are pursuing degrees in Physical Education (Coaching), Nursing or Teaching.
President Hildebrand has served FCN Bank and the citizens of Franklin County for over 35 years (10 years as President). Mrs. Carol Hildebrand has served as the school nurse for the Franklin County Community School Corporation.
Mr. Tony Windle, Vice-President, Loans, has served FCN Bank for over 25 years. In addition, he was named Coach of the Year in 2013 for the Franklin County High School Baseball team. Coach Windle has served as the school’s Varsity Baseball Coach for over 10 years. His wife, Valerie, ardent fan and loyal supporter of the team, is currently employed at Brad M. Tebbe, CPA.
Shelly Lunsford, Executive Director of the Franklin County Community Foundation was present after the announcement was made. She explained that high school seniors or current college students who are residents of Franklin, Fayette or Ripley Counties in Indiana, or Harrison, Ohio, are eligible for the scholarship if they are pursuing an undergraduate degree in Physical Education (Coaching), Nursing or Teaching.
