Brookville Foundation – John E. Lane Scholarship

Qualifications:

  1. A senior, in good standing, active in extracurricular activities for a minimum of two years.
  2. Must have a minimum of a “B” average during senior year.
  3. Financial status will be taken into consideration.
  4. Recipient must be an “all around” student chosen by a Scholarship Committee of the Brookville Foundation, which presently consists of the principal of the high school, the teacher sponsor of the national Honor Society or its successor, a teacher appointed by those two, and two persons appointed by the Board of Trustees of the Brookville Foundation.
  5. Recipient must have applied to and been accepted by an accredited four-year college or university.
  6. Scholarship is payable to the student upon satisfactory proof of his or her completion of first academic year of higher education. A copy of first year second semester grades must be sent to the Brookville Foundation.
  7. This scholarship is intended for application to sophomore year expenses and will be paid to student upon his or her registration for sophomore year.
  8. This scholarship is an equal opportunity scholarship and is open to any student regardless of race or color, religion, national origin or ancestry, age, sex and handicap. 
  9. The principal of this fund may be increased by additional gifts, bequests, and devises.

Cultivating Donor Development Endowment

An anonymous donor established this endowment in the Franklin County Community Foundation to support the operations of the Foundation in the creation and cultivation of
