The Clayton “Clay” John Seale Memorial Endowment has been established in the Franklin County Community Foundation by Joel and Debbie (Gramman) Seale to honor their son who passed away September 15, 2012, at the age of 24. Clay was born August 15, 1988. Clay attended Saint Michael School and Franklin County High School in Brookville. Clay graduated from Franklin County High School in 2007 and went on to attend Lincoln College of Technology in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Lincoln College of Technology in 2008 with an Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology. Clay was a GM Certified Mechanic and worked in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Clay had a passion for life and helping others when in need. His family and friends knew that they did not have to ask twice to get his help. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating. He loved working with automobiles and on anything with wheels and a motor. Clay always looked forward to the Franklin County 4-H Fair and participating in the derby and races. Family and friends knew him for his never-ending smile and friendly demeanor.
The Clayton “Clay” John Seale Memorial Endowment will provide funds annually to a Franklin County group or organization who is seeking funding for a project.
