Eugene “Tude” Schultz Memorial Endowment

Eugene “Tude” Schultz was born May 22, 1930 on Snow Hill in Whitewater Township, Franklin County, Indiana, to Louis and Bessie Schultz. Tude grew up in the area and after returning from serving his country in the United States Army, he spent the rest of his life farming.

Tude was a member of the Bath Conservation Club, and was always willing to help the Club when needed. He belonged to St. Joseph Post #464 American Legion in St. Leon, Indiana, and Holy Guardian Angel Church in Cedar Grove. He enjoyed playing euchre and making wine. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoyed going to the Sale Barn with his dog, Matt. He also loved the duties of the farm including picking up rocks and pulling weeds. He liked sharing produce with his friends and family.

After his passing on April 12, 2015, the Eugene “Tude” Schultz Memorial Endowment was established within the Franklin County Community Foundation using memorial contributions. The purpose of the fund is to provide support to the Bath Conservation Club.
