Early in 2016, FCN Bank contributed $5,000 to the Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF) to establish the FCN Bank Fund for Community Grantmaking. The contribution from FCN Bank was matched $1 for $1 with funding provided to the FCCF through the Lilly Endowment GIFT VI initiative. Grants from the newly established endowment will be used to provide funding to applicants for community grants during FCCF’s annual grant cycle.
Establishment of the FCN Bank Fund for Community Grantmaking fits well with the mission of the Franklin County Community Foundation – to “connect donors and community projects to promote an enriched future for all citizens of Franklin County”.
