FCN Bank – Dr. Randall W. Listerman Scholarship

In 2000, FCN Bank announced the establishment of the FCN Bank – Norbert A. Riedman Memorial Scholarship in the FCCF for children of FCN Bank employees who wish to continue their education at the college or university level. The scholarship was formed in honor of Norbert A. Riedman, long-time owner/operator of the Rexall Drug Store (now George’s Family Pharmacy), and long-time Director and Chairman of the Board of FCN Bank (1964 – 1996).

In 2006, the FCN Bank endowed the FCN Bank – William F. Reifel Memorial Scholarship in honor of Bill Reifel, President and Director of FCN Bank for over 40 years. The Reifel scholarship is primarily awarded to those students of FCN Bank employees who are entering their sophomore year of college or university study.

In 2007, FCN Bank established a scholarship for students of FCN Bank employees entering their junior or third year of study. This scholarship honors William F. Hillman, long-time bank employee, owner/operator of Hillman’s Ford-Mercury Dealership with sixteen years of service as Director of FCN Bank.

In 2008, FCN Bank established a scholarship to assist dedicated students of FCN Bank employees in completing their senior or final year of study in order to receive their B.A. or B.S. Degree. This senior year scholarship is being established in honor and memory of Charles Link Masters.

Now, FCN Bank is proud to announce its newest scholarship that will assist upcoming graduates of Franklin County High School interested in pursuing a college degree and career in Accounting / Finance. This freshman year college scholarship is being established in honor and appreciation of Dr. Randall W. Listerman. Dr. Listerman joined the Board of Directors at FCN Bank in 1980, following his father, Wayne Listerman, who faithfully served as Board Director of over 30 years. Dr. Listerman, a professor of Spanish at Miami University for over 30 years, was and is, a positive influence for the bank, its employees, and the Brookville community. He retired from the Board of Directors in 2014 as Chairman, serving faithfully for 33 years. Dr. Listerman’s family is proud of the opportunity to help establish this scholarship, focused on continued education, in honor of a great teacher, father, brother and husband. It is in this spirit of sharing and investing in our community’s future leaders that FCN Bank and the FCCF proudly announce the FCN Bank- Dr. Randall W. Listerman Scholarship Endowment.
