Daughters of Isabella Scholarship Fund

The Daughters of Isabella Scholarship was established in 2005 by the Daughters of Isabella organization to provide a scholarship to a Franklin County High School or Oldenburg Academy graduate that is sponsored by a Daughters of Isabella St. Catherine Circle #103 member.

The Daughters of Isabella is an international Catholic women’s group established to promote spiritual and charitable acts. St. Catherine #103 was established in 1919 in Brookville. There were 50 charter members of this original circle.

The organization supports St. Michael School and St. Michael Church through monetary donations and other acts of kindness. They support the St. Elizabeth Home in Indianapolis for unwed mothers and make donations to Girls State, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Their motto is, “Unity, Friendship and Charity,” that they support the Catholic religion. As of to date, the Daughters of Isabella is 133 members strong and growing.
