Kyle Kerr Memorial Scholarship

Kyle Jordan Kerr was born on February 7, 1997 to Gary and Rhonda (Hawkins) Kerr. He lived in Cedar Grove, Indiana (Mt. Carmel area). Kyle was an eighth grade honor student at Mt. Carmel School where he had been a student since kindergarten. He was a member of the Academic Team, Yearbook staff and also helped with school productions. He loved 4-H, hunting, playing Xbox Live, and working outdoors on the family farm.

Kyle will always be remembered for his wit, smile, laugh, willingness to help and his love for the Indianapolis Colts. Kyle passed away on October 23, 2010. With memorial contributions, the Kyle Jordan Kerr Memorial Scholarship Endowment will be established in the Franklin County Community Foundation.

Primary consideration for the scholarship will be given to Franklin County High School Seniors who attended Mt. Carmel School and/or are involved in 4-H. The scholarship will be awarded for the first time in 2012.
