Joseph D. Codiano Memorial Scholarship

The Joseph D. Codiano Memorial Scholarship was established in 2002 by Rene Stivers, Larry Sheets and Ron Cooper. They represent the Codiano family, friends and past football teams. The award helps students graduating from Franklin County High School who are deserving of financial assistance. Applicants must be nominated by a high school coach or athletic director and have participated in a varsity high school sport or sports during their senior year.

Mr. Codiano was a football coach and teacher at Brookville High School. He was a caring coach who appreciated all his students and players, not necessarily the best athlete, but the player who gave 100 percent in practice, the game and class with a positive attitude.
