Georgianna A. Suding passed away at the age of 98 years, after living a long, full life. As a legacy to her and her late husband, Hank, their family established the Hank & Georgianna Suding Family Endowment for St. Peter’s Cemetery. Income from the fund will be used to provide support for beautification and preservation of the St. Peter’s Cemetery located in St. Peter’s, Indiana.
Herman “Hank” and Georgianna Suding were united in marriage on May 3, 1941. The couple was blessed with 11 children, Wayne (Joan) Suding, Karen (Bob) Rosemeyer, Bruce (Pamela) Suding, Dallas (Linda) Suding, Joann (Don) Russell, Gloria (Ernie) Hoog, Brian (Becky) Suding, Brent (Janet) Suding, Mary (Greg) Nobbe, Thomas (Janice) Suding, and Perry (Marjorie) Suding. They also had 38 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the St. Peter’s area for many years.
Georgianna had a passion for gardening and floral arranging and Hank loved to go fishing. Known as “Granny” to family and friends, Georgianna also had a special place in her heart for all animals. She and Hank were devoted members of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and both are buried in the cemetery there.
