The Franklin County 4-H Association Endowment was created in 2002 by Dennis Fritz in honor of his uncle, Ray Franzman. The endowment directly funds 4-H activities in Franklin County through the 4-H Association.
Ray Franzman was a 4-H leader for the Highland Highflyers in Highland township for over 25 years. One of his major community contributions was looking after rowdy boys from ages 10 to 17 participating in 4-H.
The Franklin County Community Foundation continues to endorse, through contributions, the ideals – Head, Heart, Hands, and Health – that 4-H stands for, thus shaping the future of Franklin County youth through participation in 4-H.
