Eric J. Biehl Memorial Endowment

Eric Joseph Biehl was born on February 11, 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He and his parents, Dianne and Mike Biehl, lived in the Cincinnati area but traveled to Lakeshore Resort in Brookville for ten years before relocating to Brookville in 2009.
Eric was a vibrant young man who loved fishing and had a passion for basketball. He worked alongside his father in the construction business.

On January 27, 2011, Eric passed away due to substance abuse. Because of this tragedy, his parents have decided to establish the Eric J. Biehl Memorial Endowment in the Franklin County Community Foundation. After the fund reaches $5000 and income is available, the fund will provide assistance to residents of Franklin County who have a substance abuse problem and are seeking rehabilitation. Secondary funding will be given to substance abuse educational programs that are offered to elementary school children.

It is the hope of Eric’s family that this fund will make a difference in the lives of those struggling with substance abuse.
