The Raymond H. and Leo C. Amhrein Family Endowment was established in 2003 by Joan Amhrein in memory of Ray and Leo. The fund was created to enhance the technological education of students at St. Michael School by providing financial support for technological education.
Joan’s husband, Leo, passed away when were children were young. After Leo’s passing Joan and her father-in-law, Ray, became close. When Ray died, Joan inherited a portion of his estate and created this endowment in order to give back. Joan’s children attended St. Michael school and she is an active and devoted member of the church.
