Franklin County

“Franklin County Youth Football began formation in the fall of 1986 and
started play in the fall of 1987. Their purpose is to provide an opportunity for
young boys and girls to play and gain experience in the game of football. Over
the years they have had much success on the local gridiron as well as off.
The club’s fundraising efforts have allowed them to enhance our local park as
well as to provide annual scholarships to former participants who will move
on to continue their education after high school.  They want to provide a
positive experience while growing the program to better ready them to play at
the high school level and beyond. “
Recently, officers and members of the Franklin County Youth Football League
established the Franklin County Youth Football League Endowment within the
Franklin County Community Foundation. Income from the endowment will
provide annual financial support to the Franklin County Youth Football League
for their needs.
